Introduction to the Loyco integration for Mews

Overview of how the Loyco loyalty program works in Mews, for both reception and administrators.

The Loyco integration connects your loyalty program directly to Mews. Members are identified automatically, member rates and benefits follow the booking, and bonus points can be earned and redeemed at the front desk. This article gives you an overview of how it works and where to start.

How it works

The integration links the guest profile in Mews to the member profile in Loyco. When a member books or checks in, reception sees the membership status directly on the customer card, and can open Member Insight from the Loyalty tab to view balance, vouchers, and benefits.

The setup is done once and consists of:

  1. Enable loyalty permissions for the users who will work with the program.
  2. Add loyalty points as an external payment method.
  3. Create member rates with level-based pricing.
  4. Create products for member benefits and connect them with product rules.
  5. Test the full member journey before going live.

 

Good to know

  • Reception only needs the daily-use articles. The setup articles are for administrators with access to Mews configuration and Loyco Admin.
