Training and motivation for the employees
 

In order to achieve success with your loyalty program, it is important that the employees receive good training in how the program should be used and why a loyalty program is necessary. Employees must also be informed of the benefits and value of the program, as this increases the likelihood of success. The guides can therefore be nice to use for employee training by:

  • Going through the "guides" and making them available at the reception.
  • Creating an understanding og why employees should focus on loyalty.

In order to prevent member recruitment from stagnating after the training period, it may be appropriate to establish internal competitions linked to member recruitment. Remember that it is important to design the competitions so that they are perceived as achievable and fair among the employees. Suggestions for competitions and prizes can be: 

  • The receptionist who recruits the most members wins a 1.000,- gift card. This can also be devided according to the number of check-ins the hotel has if you want large and small hotels to be able to compete against each other.
  • If you have several hotels, the hotel that recruits the most members can win 10.000,- which can be used for team building such as escape room.
  • The receptionist who recruits the most members can win a treatment at the hotel's spa or a 3-course dinner for 2 at the hotel's restaurant.

 

Tip: You can also book the Loyco customer success team to present your loyalty program together with you and all relevant colleagues over the team's video meeting. You can choose a time in this calendar and invite relevant colleagues. Remember to book at least 1 week in advance and describe the desired training, so that Loyco has time to prepare good content.
