New loyalty program - Checklist

Below is a checklist outlining the key steps recommended for a successful launch of your Loyco loyalty program.

Program Establishment

  1. 🔲 Submit onboarding form
  2. ✅ Set up loyalty program based on onboarding form
  3. ✅ Add merchant, terminal, and departments to the loyalty program
  4. ✅ Design member profile (image, logo, colors from onboarding form) and share URL
  5. 🔲 Review and approve member profile design (sent by email). For changes, resubmit design here →
  6. ✅ If activated in onboarding form: Generate “Newsletter Sign-Up” ID and send instructions
  7. 🔲 If activated in onboarding form: Add newsletter script to website following setup manual
  8. ✅ If activated in onboarding form: Import contacts/members and notify customer by email. Imported data will be available in the portal dashboard
  9. 🔲 You can import contacts and activate the newsletter sign-up at any time
  10. ✅ Create customer portal access
  11. ✅ Add standard widgets to the “Engage Dashboard”
  12. ✅ Add standard segments to the “Engage Dashboard”
  13. ✅ Create member offers as "Offers" and/or "Giftcards" in "Engage Dashboard"
  14. 🔲 Log in to the portal and explore the dashboard
  15. ✅ Create “Welcome as a Member” email template in customer branding
  16. 🔲 Review, edit if needed, and activate the “Welcome as a Member” email
  17. 🔲 Test the sign-up flow and search for your member profile in admin dashboard

Branding

  1. 🔲 Create a landing page on your website to promote the loyalty program (example hotel →), (example retail →)
  2. 🔲 Optional: Create physical branding materials (e.g. posters or signage) (example hotel →), (example retail)
  3. 🔲 Promote the program via social media, website banners, and newsletters
  4. 🔲 Send launch announcement to existing customer base via email or SMS


Training

  1. 🔲 Book onboarding session for frontline staff → Booking link
  2. ✅ Conduct onboarding session for frontline staff
  3. 🔲 Book onboarding session for dashboard/admin/marketing team → Booking link
  4. ✅ Conduct onboarding session for management and admin team

Integration setup

Post-launch Monitoring & Engagement

  1. 🔲 Define and track KPIs (e.g. weekly sign-ups, reward redemptions, campaign opens)
  2. 🔲 Plan and schedule your first loyalty campaign (e.g. welcome bonus, double points weekend)
  3. 🔲 Schedule monthly or quarterly check-ins to review program performance → Booking link
  4. 🔲 Consider enabling birthday or anniversary rewards (optional)
