“Program tag” is an important feature, it defines a member and is used for segmenting. Program tags make it possible to set up campaigns for specific segments and communicate with the chosen segment.
A bonus program can have many program tags and you can change the program tag on a specific member so that it defines the member correctly.
Program tags are useful when creating pre-defined segments, such as VIP or corporate members who qualify for special benefits. Such members may be invited into your program with a specific URL which automatically assigns them the desired Program tag.
