Promoting your program on social media
How to use social media to recruit new members and keep existing members engaged with your loyalty program.
Why it matters
Social media lets you reach both guests who don't know your program exists and members who need a reminder of what they're missing. Announce the program as news at launch, then keep it alive with a steady flow of posts about benefits, promotions, and member perks. Posts can run on their own or be woven into your regular content.
Post ideas that work
| Focus | Content | Goal |
|---|---|---|
| Loyalty program launch | Present the program and the benefits of becoming a member | Recruit new members |
| New member benefits | Announce new sign-up benefits | Keep members loyal, recruit new members |
| Double member discount | Limited-time double discount for all members | Drive return visits, recruit new members |
| Have you checked your benefits lately? | Remind members of the benefits they already have | Keep members loyal, recruit new members |
| Member discount | All members get 10% on orders | Drive return visits |
| Free room upgrade | Members always get a free room upgrade | Keep members loyal through visible value |
Good to know
- Mix recruitment posts with member-value posts. If every post says "join now", existing members have nothing to engage with.
- Always include a direct sign-up link in the post or bio, so interested guests can join in one click.
- See "Digital/Social Media Templates" for ready-made post designs, and "Promoting Your Program on Your Website" for making the program visible where guests book.
