Set up Loyco x BookVisit
This article walks you through everything you need to do to activate and set up the Loyco integration in BookVisit. Follow the checklist in order to ensure a smooth go-live.
How it works
Unlike PMS integrations, the Loyco integration with BookVisit is embedded directly in the booking engine. Guests can join the loyalty programme and access member benefits — such as exclusive pricing, bonus points, and offers — without leaving the booking flow. No separate Member Insight extension or PMS configuration is required.
Who does what
The onboarding involves three parties. Use this overview to track responsibility for each step before you begin.
- You (the customer) — requests activation, configures the member price campaign, and tests the setup
- BookVisit — approves and activates the integration on their end
- Loyco — receives access details from BookVisit and sets up the connection to your loyalty programme
Step 1 — Request activation
Send an email to support@bookvisit.com and copy support@loyco.no to request activation of the Loyco integration.
BookVisit manually activates the integration, typically within 2–3 business days. Once activated, Loyco receives the necessary access details from BookVisit and sets up the connection to your loyalty programme. You will be notified when the integration is ready.
Things to note
- The Loyco integration in BookVisit is entirely guest-facing — it lives in the booking engine, not in the PMS. Reception does not need to take any action for guests to earn or access member benefits during booking
- Make sure the member price campaign is fully configured and tested before going live, as this is what guests see when they book
- Guests who book through BookVisit and choose the member price will receive an SMS after booking to complete their registration
