Test your loyalty setup in Mews
Steps for administrators to verify that enrollment, point earning, and redemption work before going live.
Before launching the program, run through these three tests using your own profile. Together they confirm the full member journey: joining the program, earning points, and spending them.
1. Enroll yourself with a test booking
Make a test booking with your own details in the Mews booking engine or PMS. Follow the steps in Applying member rates for walk-in, phone, or email reservations.
Verify that the membership is created and that you receive the enrollment communication.
2. Create a manual transaction
Create a manual transaction on your test member in Loyco Admin. Follow the steps in How to create a transaction.
Verify that the transaction appears on the member profile and that the bonus balance updates.
3. Redeem bonus points
Redeem bonus points on your test member in the Mews PMS. Follow the steps in Redeeming member bonuses in Mews.
Verify that the balance is deducted and that the discount is posted correctly in Mews.

- Complete the tests in this order. Each step depends on the previous one: you need a member before you can add points, and points before you can redeem.
