User rights in Loyco data processing

The User Transparency Portal lets your members exercise their statutory privacy rights on their own.

How it works

The User Transparency Portal is available to all end users, employees, and administrators. Members reach it through the terms of use and privacy policy links, and through the footer of all communication sent through Loyco. The portal is generated per location. Employees can process requests on behalf of members, and the member confirms the request via email.

Rights members can manage themselves in the portal

  • Delete my profile — Members can delete their profile from your database. The person is removed automatically, so you never risk sending communication to someone who has asked to be deleted.
  • Update my profile — Members have the right to correct inaccurate information. This is done directly in the User Transparency Portal.
  • Get insight of my data — Members can request a report of all data stored about them. They enter their email address, confirm it, and the report is sent to them automatically. This is the right of access under GDPR.
  • Unsubscribe — Preferences change. Every communication clearly informs the member how to opt out, so your database always contains only those who want to hear from you.

Rights handled by request

  • Data portability — Members are entitled to move their data from one controller to another. Requests are sent to personvern@loyco.no.
  • Limited data processing — Members who do not want to delete, update, or unsubscribe can instead request restricted processing. Requests are sent to personvern@loyco.no.
  • Objection — If none of the above rights are sufficient, members can object to the processing of their data. Objections are sent to personvern@loyco.no.

  • All other rights and duties of end users are described in Loyco's privacy policy.
  • The linked policy is Loyco's general privacy policy. If your company has its own privacy policy, it is available through your login.
  • Unsubscribes and deletions are reflected in the send list automatically. See "How do I make sure not to send to those who unsubscribe?" for details.
