Getting started with Loyco in HotSoft

This article walks you through everything you need to do to activate and set up the Loyco integration in HotSoft. Follow the checklist in order to ensure a smooth go-live.

How it works

The Loyco integration with HotSoft connects your loyalty programme directly to the PMS, allowing reception to view member status, invite guests, and redeem bonus points without leaving HotSoft. The integration is activated when signing the Loyco quote, and most of the technical setup is handled by HotSoft and Loyco.

Activate the integration

Activate the Loyco x HotSoft integration when signing the Loyco quote. HotSoft automatically approves the integration on their end.

Once approved, Loyco connects the integration to your loyalty programme and creates your Member Insight access. HotSoft performs the necessary technical setup and software upgrade on their end. You will be notified when everything is ready

 

Complete the configuration in HotSoft

Once the integration is active, complete the following configuration steps in HotSoft:

  • Configure Column Layouts to add the Loyalty and Loyall fields to Contact Manager
  • Set up the Interface Settings with the values provided by Loyco
  • Configure External Sources to enable Member Insight to open directly from reservations in HotSoft

Things to note

  • Most of the technical setup is handled by HotSoft and Loyco — you do not need to configure the integration yourself beyond the Column Layouts, Interface Settings, and External Sources steps
  • The Loyco icon and Loyalty widget in HotSoft are only visible after the configuration steps in HotSoft have been completed
  • Member Insight opens directly from HotSoft via the world icon — no separate browser extension is required
